The Capitol Gang

Our group formed around six years ago as a group of young Capitol Hill staffers in D.C. who knew each other from work. Since it started, it's picked up roommates and college friends along the way. The size of my tribe is now around two dozen. It's probably a 60/40 split of men and women. There are a few married couples who are a part of it but they were single when they joined and have brought their spouses into the tribe.

Every so often, we do something called "family dinner." Whoever is hosting will name a theme and provide the main course, while everyone else brings sides that go with the theme. There's no real schedule, we just have them whenever.
